You could say painting is in her genetics. Ashley Garland of Ashley Floorcloths learned a unique method of artful decoration from her grandmother at just 13 years old; painted floorcloths. With roots in traditional floor covering, Ashley is bringing the technique back with some modern flare. Offering consultations for custom designs and some from her own mind, there’s something for everyone.
I’ve personally had one of her Floorcloths in my home for the past 10+ years,residing in the front entry to my home - talk about durability. I recently just invested in a new one for the dining room, letting Ashley take the reigns and have creative freedom. She did a perfect job of creating something to make this space more lively, adding some personality. I love that it just wipes clean (important when you’ve got 3 messy kids) and is dust (and vacuum) free.
