3 Reasons to Host a Rehearsal Dinner With Your Wedding Party

1. Thank them for standing beside you.

Chances are, they’ve been a great friend or influence in your life. In many cases, the wedding party has helped in some way to contribute to the wedding day ( I see you bridesmaids turned DIY masters and groomsmen put to work). The rehearsal dinner is a nice way to visit with them and give thanks for having them in your life.

2. Hang out without the stress.

The day of your wedding will fly by, and you probably won’t get to visit with your wedding party peeps all that much. Brides & Grooms are usually busy trying to greet and visit with all of their guests…and there just isn’t enough time for everything.

3. Make it awesome - have it as formal or informal as you’d like.

After you rehearse the wedding, you can plan this shindig however you’d like. Think backyard BBQ with pool party and slip and slide, drinks and apps at your favorite karaoke bar, or just a low key dinner at your favorite local restaurant.

About this Rehearsal Dinner | Cape Cod Rehearsal Dinner | Hyannis, MA

Alex & Rachel hosted their rehearsal dinner aboard the gorgeous 130ft yacht, “Kaleen.” The rainy day cleared just in time for the boat to set sail for a sunset harbor cruise from the Hyannis Marina. Everyone aboard was treated to champagne, delicious chef prepared appetizers and an amazing sunset that day.
