Kelsey & Brad’s Rustic CT Barn Wedding

It was a normal business meeting. Chatting at the great coffee shop downtown, with that adorable potential bride and her equally beautiful BFF/sister/Maid of Honor. I know why you bring a buddy to these types of things - to get another opinion, help alleviate potential awkwardness of chillin’ with a stranger (and I am strange).

Well, it was going great. The bride checked out my online portfolio, she reviewed the information I had already sent and had her shit together about her wedding. They love the outdoors, and beer - it’s a perfect match.

Then, the shop owner surprised us with samples of their new homemade ice cream.

If ice cream is involved, it’s a win.

As I’m telling some great story about a past wedding, I flail my hands about with awesome enthusiasm and pour my entire cup of coffee into my lap. Oye. Klutz. Luckily, we laughed it off, and she continued to like me (or maybe it was pity?).
